Mivvi will be supporting their good friends Imogens Kiss on Friday May 14th, at the Fleur De Lys in Nuneaton, and then Headlining at tamworths Casa Bar the following thursday, May 20th. These are a couple of warmup gigs for us, as we put the finishing touches on our second album, which should be out sometime within the next few months, but as usual, we will be giving you everything we've got in terms of performance :-) ---------- Big Rich |

We're working hard on the second album now, aiming for a release around april - june this year. I've taken the potential album tracks down for now at the request of the boys to allow us to work on them and cherry pick the best songs from those and the recordings we have over the next couple of months to build the album from :-) edit: oh yeah, you can check out the awesome studio we record at, run by the brilliant Joel, here Recording Studio Birmingham ---------- Big Rich |

Right, we've started to get ourselves back into gear, writing (actually more like finishing off) a bunch of new songs, tweaking a few that we weren't quite happy with, and we've booked ourselves some recording studio time for early december. It is my hope that we'll also manage to book a gig or two pre christmas,to air some of our new material. We decided on the two tracks we're going to record this time, and for now i'll not reveal their names. Suffice to say one of them you'll recognise if you've seen us live in the past year, the other, very few people will ever have heard before unless they've been lucky enough to visit us at our lockup whilst we've been practising it. It's a proper stomper, and we love it. It should sound amazing when properly recorded at Jole's newly built recording studios just over the road from PMT :-) I'll post more details when we have news on gig dates, or during/after the recording session. ---------- Big Rich |
