We're working hard on the second album now, aiming for a release around april - june this year. I've taken the potential album tracks down for now at the request of the boys to allow us to work on them and cherry pick the best songs from those and the recordings we have over the next couple of months to build the album from :-) edit: oh yeah, you can check out the awesome studio we record at, run by the brilliant Joel, here Recording Studio Birmingham

Given we haven't updated for a little while, I thought i'd add a quick note to let you know what's going on. We're currently spending some time in our studio writing and finishing off a bunch of new material so that we can give you all something fresh in our nextset of gigs. There's some great stuff coming out from us at the moment, and no doubt we'll start actually recording some of it and getting it on here when we're happy with it, for you all to have a listen to :-) ---------- Big Rich |

Right, we've started to get ourselves back into gear, writing (actually more like finishing off) a bunch of new songs, tweaking a few that we weren't quite happy with, and we've booked ourselves some recording studio time for early december. It is my hope that we'll also manage to book a gig or two pre christmas,to air some of our new material. We decided on the two tracks we're going to record this time, and for now i'll not reveal their names. Suffice to say one of them you'll recognise if you've seen us live in the past year, the other, very few people will ever have heard before unless they've been lucky enough to visit us at our lockup whilst we've been practising it. It's a proper stomper, and we love it. It should sound amazing when properly recorded at Jole's newly built recording studios just over the road from PMT :-) I'll post more details when we have news on gig dates, or during/after the recording session. ---------- Big Rich |

We had a blast last night, performing a shorter set that usual, doing support for Imogen's Kiss at tamworths Casa Bar (formerly the palace). Thanks as usual to Karl for hosting the night and having the bands in. It felt like a great venue to play in, if only the curfew for bands wasn't 9pm at which point it turned a bit too cheesey karaoke for my tastes  Still, fantastic sound in the room, reasonable crowd of people, and a great lights system meant we all had a blast. Don't forget to sponsor me for the stick it to ms world record attempt in july  We've not got much more in the way of gigs lined up at the moment, but we're working on it, looking into promotional/management agencies etc, and we're going to try and finish off recording of the new album over the next couple of months for an autumn release (hopefully). so keep em peeled. ---------- Big Rich |
